The New Armor Options

Tim has given his consent on players being able to use this modified armor in our GURPS Conan game.  I will bring the files with me on my flash drive to games sessions so if you have a laptop and don't have internet access(though you'd likely not be reading this).  http://www.motoslave.net/gcarepo/browse.php?pg=2 That is the link it and the file is called Revised Armor Tables, so scroll down and on the right there are two listed files -Download(the Character Assistant File)http://www.motoslave.net/gcarepo/download.php/4/18/38/Armor.gdf and Example(the PDF)http://www.motoslave.net/gcarepo/download.php/4/18/33/Armor%20weights.pdf.  I of course see the value in both, so I put the PDF in with my GURPS books and the CA file goes under ...Gurps Character Assistant 4/Data Files   you will have to load it as a module through the program for them to come up though.  If it's confusing there is also a file on the first page http://www.motoslave.net/gcarepo/download.php/4/19/37/RemoveArmor.gdf that deletes the default armor(called Armor Deleter) from original rules, so you can do that too in a similar process.  NOTE If you don't do this you could be picking armor that is not available to us any longer, the new armor table does have many of the same versions but expanded and some different stats-which I feel add more realism as there is a more piecemeal approach with variety.

I myself (Artemis), have purchased one of these full-length heavy leather coats.  Though for the price I paid, I dare say it's not in the color and texture the god's intended it to be, and if I do say so myself, looks far better on me then it did on it's original wearer.

Having recently recovered from some minor wounds I was very interested to see my fair friend Artemis in this ravishing new ensemble, it would seem that we are two in the same mind.  I too purchased the very same item, which though it does not seem as fashionable as I had first believed it does likely have it's uses.
