Rules Changes and tweeks.

Ive  decided to throw some ideas out there for rules changes and hyborian flavor.


1-     From now on all combat will be quick contests instead of the normal hit/miss rules, but if both the attacker and defender succeed in their rolls and the attackers margin is greater, the attacker may roll damage and halve the total.(hopefully this should speed up the extremely long combat sequences).

2-     As for healing I am going to allow innovative and creative ways to have characters healed, for example using herbalism and or alchemy to speed up the rate of healing and also in the true fashion of conan a flagon of        ale/wine and a night in the arms of some lusty strumpet will do wonders for what ails you.

3-     For the gladiators, using skills that interact with the crowd using showmanship and also the more flashy combat maneuvers used can give a numerical bonus in the next round also those who do not meet the crowds approval may get a penalty if they fail a will roll.

 If anybody else has ideas for rules changes throw them up here.

 Also here's a major one:
 
   No Single attack made by a human that is not a weapon master can have a skill success roll greater than 15. If one does raise their weapon skill above 15 the bonus can be used normally for combat maneuvers and such.

         For example: bob has a broadsword skill of 20 but on any attack roll may not succeed above 15 so he makes two rapid strikes for 14/14 or perhaps a targeted attack to the neck for 15.................
